Surgery - Cardiovascular Physician Assistant

Frye Regional is looking for for a Cardiovascular APP at Frye to facilitate in coverage for a rotation of days/weeks in coordination with the existing staff; This could be specific dates off or full rotation weeks. This would include 8 onsite hours and then first call.

Shifts would be 7a-7a, and may need shorter and longer periods as the schedule requires; it is not an established rotation, per se; we are trying to develop a pool that could facilitate a stable rotation if possible.

Must be full scope practitioner including the ability to work in the OR, rounding in the routine floors and ICU, and provide post-op clinic coverage at least one day per week and as needed per needs of the business.

Ideal candidate would already be NC licensed and have documentation ready for full-hospital credentialing process; orientation on-site is once monthly and ideal candidate would be able to attend that orientation (next is 1/29, 2/26, 3/26, etc.)

Once orientation is completed, the provider will rotate with existing staff to meet coverage needs.
