Chief Financial Officer

Financial StrategistApplied Physics is seeking a seasoned strategist with extensive experience to lead our financial operations. As a key member of our senior management team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our financial strategy, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and monetizing our patent portfolio, in addition to acquiring new technologies. You will work closely with other C-suite members to provide financial insight and guidance on strategic decisions, as well as work with the board of directors and ethics board.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related fieldMaster's degree preferred10+ years of experience in financial management and planning, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership roleExcellent leadership skills and the ability to inspire confidence and create trustStrong financial and accounting background, including an understanding of profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow management, and general finance and budgetingKnowledge of regulatory requirements and complianceAbility to work under pressure, plan personal workload effectively, and delegate tasksExcellent communication skills, including the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner
