The selected candidate will beresponsible for capturing, verifying, documenting, and managing business andsystem requirements in support of product development, testing, implementation,and delivery. This role requires strong experience in requirements analysis,requirements traceability, workflow analysis, system documentation, stakeholdercollaboration, and Agile/SDLC methodologies. The Business Systems Analyst willwork closely with business stakeholders, end users, developers, QA teams,project leads, and client representatives to ensure application solutions meetbusiness needs, technical requirements, quality standards, and operationalgoals. Key Responsibilities Capture, verify, document, and manage business,functional, non-functional, and performance requirements. Maintain requirements traceability throughout thesoftware development lifecycle, including development, testing, release,and delivery. Work with business stakeholders, end users, andtechnical teams to gather and validate requirements for systemenhancements, new functionality, and new projects. Analyze business processes, workflows, and systemfunctionality to identify gaps, improvements, and solution requirements. Develop software requirements documentation,specifications, user stories, process flows, system documentation, andother project artifacts. Facilitate interviews, working sessions, andrequirements-gathering meetings with stakeholders across multiplemanagement levels. Collaborate with developers and QA teams to ensurerequirements are clearly understood, implemented, tested, and validated. Support testing, defect resolution, user acceptancetesting, release readiness, and implementation activities. Develop and update user guides, release notes,standard operating procedures, process documentation, design documentdrafts, and requirements traceability matrices. Create process diagrams, workflow diagrams, systemdiagrams, and related documentation using available modeling tools. Conduct business and technical presentations forstakeholders and project teams. Ensure project documentation follows establishedstandards, templates, and quality guidelines. Support the implementation and management ofbusiness-aligned IT services. Help ensure application platforms are high-quality,secure, defect-free, and aligned with industry standards for development,testing, and deployment. Provide backup support outside the primary role asassigned and perform other duties as required. Requirements Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or arelated field, or equivalent professional experience. 15 years of professional experience as a BusinessAnalyst, Business Systems Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role. Minimum 5 years of experience in softwarerequirements analysis and documentation. Proven experience capturing, verifying, documenting,and managing software requirements. Strong experience maintaining requirementstraceability in support of product development, testing, and delivery. Ability to work with stakeholders at all levels,including end users, managers, technical teams, QA teams, and clientrepresentatives. Excellent verbal and written communication skills,including the ability to clearly document stakeholder requirements at bothhigh-level and detailed levels. Strong facilitation skills, with the ability to leadworking meetings and ask probing questions to elicit detailedrequirements. Strong analytical, critical thinking, andproblem-solving skills. Experience creating system documentation, userdocumentation, user guides, release notes, SOPs, process documentation,and requirements traceability matrices. Working experience with Microsoft Office tools,including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with modeling and diagramming tools suchas Microsoft Visio and Balsamiq. Experience with requirements management andwork-tracking tools such as Jira, Contour, or similar platforms. Experience with Agile and SDLC methodologies. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting enterprise applicationdevelopment teams. Experience working with developers and QA/QC teams tosupport secure, high-quality, defect-free application delivery. Experience developing process maps, workflowdiagrams, system diagrams, and technical documentation. Familiarity with IT service delivery, applicationlifecycle management, platform support, and system modernizationinitiatives. Ability to understand and communicate policies,regulations, operational objectives, and program goals.
