Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a traveling Physical Therapist team in Tampa, FL where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. This outpatient assignment features 60-minute evaluations and treatment sessions. Evaluate assigned patients, develop and implement treatment plans, delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services, and educate patients, families, students and coworkers. Complete timely, accurate documentation, participate in performance improvement initiatives, and maintain professional licensure and compliance with state practice acts.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Florida Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience in outpatient physical therapy providing evaluations and 60-minute evaluation plus treatment sessions preferred.
• Ability to complete documentation, letters of medical necessity, goal writing, and charge entry in compliance with clinic and payer requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• New grads considered at specified client rate.
• Experience supervising students and participating in student programs.
• Demonstrated participation in professional development and continuing education.
