Guided by our core values of Passion, Respect, and Excellence, the Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) works under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide therapeutic interventions that help residents achieve their highest level of function.Responsibilities for Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA):Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.Assist with resident evaluations and ongoing assessments, reporting progress and treatment outcomes.Guide residents through therapeutic, self-care, and functional activities to improve independence and daily living skills.Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nursing staff, social workers, and other interdisciplinary team members to coordinate resident care.Modify treatment interventions in collaboration with the supervising Occupational Therapist based on resident progress and physician orders.Educate residents and families on treatment goals, home programs, and the use of adaptive equipment.Maintain accurate clinical documentation and communicate resident progress to the supervising Occupational Therapist.Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, care planning, and quality improvement initiatives.Qualifications for Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA):Graduate of an Occupational Therapy Assistant program accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) and the American Medical Association (AMA).Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a practicing Occupational Therapist Assistant in a healthcare setting preferred.Current Occupational Therapist Assistant license in the state of practice required.Current CPR certification required.Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.Our Core Values in ActionPassion – Helping residents regain independence and maximize their quality of life through compassionate rehabilitation.Respect – Treating every resident with dignity while supporting individualized therapy goals.Excellence – Delivering evidence-based therapy services with professionalism, collaboration, and clinical expertise.Benefits as Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA):Tuition reimbursementEmployee referral bonusHealth, vision, and dental benefits401(k) with matchEmployee engagement and culture committeeCompany-sponsored life insuranceEmployee assistance program (EAP) resourcesJoin our team at Olde Main Post Acute and Healthcare Center, a facility where compassion and quality care are at the heart of everything we do.
