The Veterinary Assistant / Technician supports veterinary professionals by providing comprehensive care to animals, assisting in medical procedures, and maintaining clinical operations. This role is vital in ensuring the health and well-being of patients and delivering excellent client service within a veterinary setting.

 

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate animal care and comfort
• Assist veterinarians with medical procedures and treatments
• Monitor patient condition and report changes
• Collect samples for laboratory testing
• Perform laboratory tests and analyze results
• Sterilize equipment to maintain clinical hygiene
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding care and instructions
• Administer medications as directed by veterinary staff
• Prepare treatment areas and supplies for procedures

 

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in veterinary assistance or technology
• Strong animal handling skills
• Demonstrated teamwork ability in clinical settings
• High attention to detail in patient care and documentation

Our Hospital is equipped with three exam rooms, Digital records, digital radiology, double surgical suite, dental machine, new dental X-Ray machine, in-house lab, grooming room. full kitchen and 1.5 bath.
