Position Pediatric Occupational Therapist Position Requirements Education Bachelor's Master's or Equivalent (Preferred) License/Certification OTR (Required) Occupational Therapy License (Required) Description Empower Phoenix is a locally therapist owned company that wants to empower our clients within their home and community. We are currently looking for in person clinicians to start in our community location. There is an option to do a hybrid (in person and telepractice) position as well but we are looking for at least 2-3 days on site. Pay ranges: 60+ for on-site and telepractice, and 70+ for home health. Supervisory Responsibilities (If Applicable) Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include joint interviewing and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. May directly supervise 0-3 assistants if desired after 6-12 months of employment. Purpose Empower clients with disabilities to participate to their full potential in situations functional to the client, recover from injury to regain skills, and provide supports for older adults experiencing physical and cognitive changes. Perform individualized evaluations during which the client/family and therapist determine the person's individual goals. Produce a customized intervention strategy to improve the client's ability to perform daily activities and continue to monitor if the outcomes from the evaluation are being met and/or be able to make changes to the current intervention plan. Population Typically individuals with Developmental Disabilities from 3-18 years.
