What You\'ll Do You will manage family law matters from initial strategy through resolution, including: Discovery and case management Drafting pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and settlement proposals Conducting depositions and attending mediations Preparing for and attending hearings and trials Developing case strategy in collaboration with clients and team members Conducting client meetings and advising clients regarding legal options and case strategy Maintaining proactive communication with clients throughout the life of their case Working closely with paralegals and support staff to ensure efficient and effective case management Managing deadlines and ensuring cases continue moving forward in a timely and strategic manner Who Thrives Here The attorneys who succeed at C. Preferred Qualifications Active member of The Florida Bar in good standing Minimum of 2 years of family law experience required. Trial experience is a must. Experience handling contested hearings, mediations, and depositions Strong legal research and writing skills Ability to independently develop case strategy and support those recommendations with applicable law Trial experience is a plus Familiarity with modern case management systems and paperless workflows Our Culture Our firm is built on accountability, teamwork, and mutual respect. Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.
