Ewald Automotive Group is seeking an experienced, results-driven General Manager to lead one of our automotive dealerships. This is an executive-level opportunity for a proven automotive leader who understands dealership operations, drives financial performance, develops strong teams, and delivers an exceptional customer experience.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and hands-on leader who can oversee all aspects of dealership performance while building a culture that supports employee growth, operational excellence, and long-term profitability.

• Oversee all dealership operations, including fixed and variable operations.

• Develop, manage, and monitor budgets, forecasts, and performance goals.

• Analyze financial statements, key performance indicators, and operational results to drive profitability and growth.

• Lead, hire, train, coach, and motivate dealership personnel to achieve individual and organizational objectives.

• Establish clear performance expectations and promote accountability throughout the dealership.

• Identify opportunities to improve processes, operational efficiency, sales performance, service productivity, and customer satisfaction.

• Ensure compliance with applicable Wisconsin laws, regulations, and industry requirements governing automotive sales and service.

• Foster a positive workplace culture built on communication, teamwork, professionalism, and respect.

• Communicate effectively with employees, leadership, and other key stakeholders.

• Support the continued success and growth of Ewald Automotive Group through strong leadership and sound business management.

Qualified candidates must possess:

• A minimum of five years of experience as an Automotive Dealership General Manager.

• Demonstrated leadership skills and a proven ability to lead, develop, and retain high-performing teams.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

• A thorough understanding of automotive dealership operations, including fixed and variable operations.

• Strong financial acumen, including experience managing financial statements, developing budgets, forecasting results, and achieving performance goals.

• A comprehensive understanding of applicable Wisconsin laws and regulations related to automotive sales and service.

• The ability to evaluate business performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement effective strategies.

• A professional, results-oriented approach with a strong commitment to employee development and customer satisfaction.

Relocation: Applicants residing outside Wisconsin must be willing to relocate to the area within a reasonable timeframe if offered the position.
