Job Details Position description involves the implementation of patient rehabilitation programs to enhance mobility, function, and strength. Must hold an active license as a Physical Therapist in the state of California or plan to test in the near future to obtain licensure. Required qualifications include a degree in Physical Therapy, with no minimum years of experience specified. Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week. Must possess computer skills necessary to complete evaluations, reports, and discharge summaries using an Electronic Medical Record system. Be able to make independent decisions regarding patient care and supervise PT Assistants and Aides. Involves physical mobility, including walking, sitting, standing, bending, lifting over 50 pounds, and assisting patients with transfers. Must follow HIPAA policy and procedures, and be familiar with billing policies including DX and ICD-10 coding. No travel is expected for this position. Position involves working in an outpatient/rehabilitation setting, focusing on patient care and safety.
