Senior Manager, Global Oncology Communications, Bladder Cancer and GU Public Affairs

Senior Manager role focused on developing and executing global communications strategies for Johnson & Johnson's bladder cancer and genitourinary oncology portfolio. The position partners across R&D, commercial, medical affairs, and public affairs teams to advance integrated messaging, strengthen stakeholder relationships, and support portfolio milestones through a hybrid global-to-local model.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute integrated global communications strategies for bladder cancer portfolio and broader genitourinary cancer initiatives
- Provide strategic communications counsel to internal partners across R&D, commercial, medical affairs, and regional teams
- Translate scientific data and business strategies into differentiated messaging across earned, owned, and paid channels
- Support proactive communications initiatives including disease awareness, innovation storytelling, and product launches at key lifecycle moments
- Monitor media, stakeholder, policy, and competitive landscapes to identify risks and opportunities affecting portfolio positioning
Requirements
- Senior-level experience in oncology or pharmaceutical communications and public affairs
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex scientific data into clear, compelling messaging
- Cross-functional partnership and stakeholder management experience in matrixed organizations
- Strategic communications and public affairs expertise aligned with policy and market-shaping priorities
- Experience executing global communications strategies with local market adaptation
- Strong analytical and measurement capabilities for assessing communications impact
