Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) AB Staffing is looking for an experienced Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Float that is available the 2025/2026 school year. Requirements: Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program Active Illinois COTA License School-based or pediatric experience preferred Comfortable floating between multiple school sites BLS/CPR certification Ability to meet standard pre‑employment requirements Job Description: Caseload and details of position/classroom type will differ based on school location. Contract through the school year – 35 hours per week. Contract follows the academic district calendar. Duties: Implement treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist Provide direct therapy services to students per IEP goals Support students’ functional, fine motor, sensory, and school participation skills Collaborate with teachers, OTs, and multidisciplinary teams Travel between assigned school buildings as needed Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and state requirements Promote safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environments Pay: $1,575 per week Why choose AB Staffing?
