Our client is a well-established manufacturing business serving a diverse customer base across multiple industrial sectors. Backed by a larger international group, the company is entering an exciting phase of growth and operational development and is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead day-to-day operations and drive continuous improvement across the business.

This is a highly visible leadership role for a hands-on manufacturing professional who thrives in fast-paced production environments and enjoys balancing people leadership, planning, quality, logistics, and operational excellence.

The Opportunity

Reporting to senior leadership, the Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing production operations, coordinating manufacturing schedules, driving on-time delivery performance, and ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer service.

The successful candidate will play a key role in improving operational efficiency, strengthening processes and systems, and developing a high-performing production team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations and production teams
• Develop and manage production schedules to meet customer requirements and delivery commitments
• Coordinate workflow across production, quality, logistics, and customer-facing functions
• Drive operational efficiency, productivity, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Monitor KPIs related to safety, quality, delivery, and operational performance
• Ensure compliance with quality management systems and industry standards
• Support workforce development, employee engagement, and accountability
• Partner with leadership to identify opportunities for growth and operational improvement
• Maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders

What We're Looking For

• Proven leadership experience within a manufacturing or production environment
• Strong production planning and scheduling expertise
• Experience managing high-volume or fast-paced manufacturing operations
• Strong understanding of quality systems, quality control, and continuous improvement methodologies
• Experience coordinating production, logistics, inventory, and customer requirements
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, drive accountability, and improve operational performance
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Experience with ISO-certified manufacturing environments preferred
