About the Position

We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Psychiatrist for a locum opportunity in Missouri with an established behavioral health program specializing in Eating Disorders .

Assignment Details:

• Coverage: August 3, 2026 – August 17, 2026 (extension possible)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Call: 1 week of call coverage
• Setting: Residential Treatment, Partial Hospitalization (PHP), and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
• Patient Volume: Approximately 12–15 patients per day
• Patient Population: Adolescents (11+) and Adults

Responsibilities:

• Conduct admission assessments and initial psychiatric evaluations
• Provide weekly follow-up visits for established patients
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary behavioral health team
• Supervise and work alongside experienced Nurse Practitioners

Requirements:

• BC/BE in Psychiatry
• Active BLS certification
• Experience or interest in Eating Disorders preferred
• Fellowship not required
