Seeking Epileptologist at Penn State Health

Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and Penn State College of Medicine seeks a board-certified/eligible Neurologist with fellowship training in Epilepsy and/or Clinical Neurophysiology (epilepsy track) to join the Department of Neurology under the leadership of Krish Sathian, MBBS, PhD, Chair of Neurology. Appointment at the Assistant, Associate, or full Professor level, dependent on qualifications Compensation & Benefits: Competitive salary – guaranteed base salary with opportunity for both productivity and academic bonuses Relocation assistance Health, dental, vision, life, disability and malpractice insurance 20 days of vacation plus paid parental and medical leave CME – 10 days and allowance 401k match up to 10% Position Requirements: M.D., M.D./Ph.D., D.O., or equivalent degree BC/BE Neurology with the completion of an Epilepsy and/or Clinical Neurophysiology (epilepsy track) fellowship. BC/BE Epilepsy preferred. Clinical expertise in epilepsy. Interest in developing a focus area, e.g. in the surgical epilepsy program, intra-operative monitoring, continuous EEG monitoring, or outpatient epilepsy is encouraged. Experience with pharmacological management of epilepsy, video-EEG monitoring, intracranial monitoring and neurostimulation required.Ability to acquire license to practice in the State of Pennsylvania Must be able to obtain valid federal and state narcotics certificates Community: Excellent public schools with many ranking in the top 20% in the state.
