Regional Director of Respiratory Therapy

Responsibilities:

• Leadership:

  • Oversee and manage a team of Respiratory Therapists in multiple locations

  • Develop and implement short-term and long-term goals for the respiratory therapy department

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements

• Clinical Expertise:

  • Provide expert clinical guidance to staff Respiratory Therapists

  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of patients' respiratory status

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet patients' unique needs

• Communication and Collaboration:

  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless coordination of care

  • Participate in rounds and multidisciplinary team meetings to share knowledge and best practices

  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care

• Administrative Duties:

  • Manage budgets, inventory, and equipment for the respiratory therapy department

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for the respiratory therapy department

Requirements:

• Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or a related field required; Master's degree preferred

• Licensure:

  • Current Respiratory Therapy licensure in the state of New Jersey

• Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, with 1 year of experience in a leadership role

• Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care

  • Strong leadership and management skills

Salary: $90,000 - $140,000 ANNUALLY
