Property Management Assistant

In-Home Support Worker

Performs human support work providing in-home services to senior citizens and the disabled, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the moderate supervision of the assigned supervisor.

Job Duties

• Provides clients with all needed home management tasks.
• Ensures clients' safety and well-being.
• Transports clients to appointments and essential errands.
• Communicates changes to supervisor, social workers, and nurses.
• Completes timesheets, day sheets, and vehicle logs.
• Performs other assigned duties.

Position Qualifications

• Ability to read and carry out detailed instructions.
• Ability to work with older adults.
• Ability to work with people from all socio-economic levels.
• Ability to work in the home of a client and perform homemaker duties.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients and associates.

Education, Experience and Supplemental Information

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Moderate experience providing services to clients and working with the elderly and/or disabled or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.
• Valid driver's license.
