Ecommerce Manager
feetures
Feetures is a family-owned performance brand headquartered in the Charlotte Metro area of North Carolina, built on one core belief: we're all Meant to Move. Founded in 2002 to engineer a better sock for runners and active people, we've grown into the #1 running sock brand in U.S. run specialty stores, with products sold in more than 40 countries through a thriving omnichannel business. While we've grown globally, we've never lost what got us here: the mindset of a family business. Movement isn't just what our products support — it's how we work. We run on creativity, curiosity, and collaboration because the best results come from moving forward together. We obsess over the details, challenge convention, care deeply about our teammates and customers, and bring competitive passion to everything we do. We're not just making socks. We're helping people go farther, perform better, and live more active lives. If you're driven by purpose and excited to build something meaningful, you'll feel right at home at Feetures. About the Role The Ecommerce Manager, Site Performance & Merchandising will own and optimize onsite performance across our DTC business. This role is responsible for how effectively we convert traffic into revenue across product categories through strong merchandising, testing, and customer-informed decision making. You will work closely with the Director of Ecommerce & Digital Marketing and the leadership team to translate high-level strategy into execution, insights, and continuous optimization. You will combine performance data (revenue, CVR, AOV, contribution margin), customer insight (behavior, feedback, friction), and hands‑on execution (merchandising, CRO, testing) to improve category performance and overall site conversion. What You’ll Own Onsite Performance & Optimization Own performance across product categories — CVR, AOV, and sell-through Identify opportunities to improve conversion and revenue, and act on them quickly Merchandising & Category Management Own homepage, collections, and product sorting logic Align product visibility with demand, inventory, and marketing activity Continuously refine category structure and navigation Collaborate with Product Development to understand market trends and translate them onsite CRO & Testing Own and execute the CRO roadmap across PDPs, cart, and key site flows Run A/B tests across product pages, pricing and bundling, and messaging and layout Identify and remove friction throughout the customer journey Regularly analyze customer feedback and behavior — reviews, returns, support tickets, surveys, NPS, heatmaps, and session recordings Identify key drivers of conversion and drop‑off, and translate findings into improvements across PDPs, merchandising, and messaging Share insights with product and marketing teams to inform decisions Product & Marketing Launch Execution Lead onsite execution for product launches and seasonal transitions Ensure alignment between marketing campaigns and onsite experience Own launch, promotion, and promotional content accuracy — assets, descriptions, and all website content Support product lifecycle optimization from launch through scale to exit Analytics & Reporting Own reporting across product and category performance Provide clear visibility into what is working, what is not, and why — with recommendations Bring insights to leadership in a way that drives decisions, not just updates Site Optimization & Roadmap Identify and prioritize site improvements based on revenue impact Partner with design and development on UX/UI enhancements Execute quickly on high‑impact changes without waiting for perfect conditions Cross‑Functional Collaboration Partner closely with Paid Media, Email & SMS, DTC Marketing, Product Design, and DTC Inventory Demand Planning Align the onsite experience with traffic sources, seasonal campaigns, and customer messaging across all channels What Success Looks Like Measurable improvement in CVR and AOV across key product categories A disciplined CRO roadmap with documented test results and compounding improvements Onsite experience that consistently reflects brand campaigns and product launches without gaps or delays Leadership has clear, actionable visibility into site performance at any given time Cross‑functional partners consider you the go‑to for anything that touches the site What We’re Looking For Experience 4–7+ years in DTC ecommerce, with hands‑on ownership of site performance and merchandising Shopify Plus experience — you know the platform deeply, not just the surface Demonstrated experience working on or influencing $15M+ DTC revenue businesses Strong track record in merchandising and onsite optimization, CRO and A/B testing, and product/category performance analysis Proven ability to use data and customer insight together — not one without the other — to drive decisions Skills & Mindset Strong execution skills with a genuine test‑and‑learn mindset — you ship, measure, and iterate Comfortable owning a number and being accountable for it Able to communicate clearly across teams — translating site data into language that resonates with marketing, product, and leadership High attention to detail in execution; nothing launches broken or off‑brand on your watch What Sets You Apart Shopify Ninja: You know Shopify Plus inside out — from theme logic and metafields to app integrations and storefront optimization. Comfortable in black and white and gray: You make sound decisions even when the data is incomplete, the direction isn’t fully defined, or the playbook doesn’t exist yet. Ambiguity doesn’t stall you — it’s where you do some of your best work. Apparel, performance, or multi‑category DTC brand experience Experience working closely with paid media teams and understanding how traffic source affects onsite behavior Familiarity with MER and contribution margin frameworks — you understand the economics beyond CVR Experience mentoring or managing junior team members Why This Role This is a high‑ownership role at a brand that moves fast and takes its DTC business seriously. You won’t be maintaining someone else’s roadmap — you’ll be building one. If you want to own a number, have a direct line to leadership, and work on a product people genuinely love, this is it.
