Prep Cook SAGE Dining Services® is seeking a Prep Cook to join our team at a private day school. The Prep Cook will play a crucial role in preparing ingredients and assisting in meal preparation to ensure that students and faculty receive nutritious and appetizing meals. NO nights and weekends, as we follow the school schedule. This role is expected to begin in early August. At SAGE, food and people come first. The teams at each of the schools we serve work together to provide safe, healthy, and varied meals that reflect the tastes and preferences of each community. At the same time, our home office team works together to offer weekly pay, comprehensive year-round benefits, and continuous training. Schedule: Monday through Friday. 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Summers Off! Available overtime for catering events with advance notice. Prepare assigned menu items in accordance with SAGE recipes. Use proper food handling, storage, and sanitation techniques (HAACP). Experience as a prep cook or line server in a commercial kitchen preferred. Ability to understand and execute recipes and instructions in English accurately. Ability to interact with SAGE guests and Team Members in a professional and positive manner and provide service with a smile!
