Regulatory Counsel

Providing legal guidance in a remote capacity, the full-time Regulatory Counsel will support compliance with federal and state mortgage lending laws, lead regulatory change management, and collaborate on new business initiatives and product development. Key responsibilities: Provide legal analysis and advice on compliance with mortgage lending laws and regulations Lead regulatory change management by monitoring legal developments and advising on implementation strategies Collaborate on new business initiatives, assessing regulatory risk and structuring compliant solutions Required qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Active bar membership in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction 2+ years of relevant legal or regulatory compliance experience in the banking or mortgage industry Experience advising on consumer mortgage lending laws and regulations, including TILA, RESPA, and ECOA Familiarity with loan origination systems and compliance tools, preferred
