Position Summary...
The Director, People leads the development and execution of human resources strategies aligned with business objectives, ensuring effective organizational change management and compliance with applicable laws and policies. This role directs HR practices, data analysis, and talent management initiatives to support workforce capability and engagement. Collaborating cross-functionally, the Director provides guidance on HR matters, drives continuous improvement, and fosters a culture of integrity and accountability. The position requires strong leadership to influence business outcomes while maintaining confidentiality and promoting operational excellence across the organization.

The People for Global Tech team, supporting Walmart US Tech leaders—drives the development and execution of human resource strategies aligned with business goals. Collaborating closely with leadership, the team drives organizational change, talent management, and regulatory compliance. Utilizing data analysis and innovative approaches, they enhance workforce capabilities and support continuous improvement. Focused on integrity and operational excellence, the team fosters strong partnerships across functions to deliver effective people solutions. This group is committed to shaping the future of work by integrating technology and strategic insights to support a skilled, engaged, and adaptable workforce.
What you'll do...
Develop and implement human resources strategies aligned with business goals to support organizational growth and change initiatives.
Provide expert guidance to business leaders on human resources matters, ensuring consistent application of HR practices and compliance with regulations.
Lead data analysis efforts by collaborating with cross-functional teams to inform decision-making and identify improvement opportunities.
Oversee compliance with federal, state, and local laws, conducting audits and implementing corrective action plans as needed.
Drive talent management initiatives including recruitment, development, succession planning, and workforce capability enhancement.
Foster a culture of integrity, accountability, and continuous learning to support associate engagement and business success.

Proven expertise in developing and executing human resource strategies aligned with business objectives.
Strong experience in organizational change management and guiding leadership through HR implications.
Demonstrated ability to direct HR compliance, audit practices, and implement corrective action plans.
Proficiency in data analysis to inform HR decisions, identify risks, and recommend solutions.
Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations with a focus on compliance.
Skilled in talent management, including recruitment, development, and succession planning.
Effective leadership and communication skills to build partnerships and foster a high-performing workforce.

The annual salary range for this position is $143,000.00 - $286,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Minimum Qualifications...
