Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide skilled nursing care in a fast-paced Medical/Surgical Unit managing patients with various diagnoses. This role requires close collaboration with a healthcare team while ensuring optimal patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Manage nursing care for patients with conditions such as pneumonia, UTI, AMS, GI bleed, alcohol withdrawal, and general frailty.
• Administer medications and titrate drips as required (excluding cardiac drips).
• Perform assessments, document findings, and monitor patient vitals and behavior.
• Assist with daily activities including bathing, feeding, and mobility.
• Collaborate with Respiratory Therapy for equipment management while monitoring patients under their care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have a valid RN license and BLS certification.
• 1 year of nursing experience required; first-time travelers accepted.
• Knowledge and experience with patient care technology and electronic charting systems (EPIC preferred).
