Schedule: Varies based on contract needs Pay: $17.75 per hour Location: Anchorage, Alaska Job Type / Schedule / Pay Employment Type: Full-Time Hours: 30-40 hours per week Schedule: Varies based on contract needs Pay: $17.75 per hour Position Summary The Janitor II provides janitorial services at contract job sites in accordance with industry standards. This role supports a clean, safe, and professional environment while contributing to Assets, Inc.'s mission and core values. Key Responsibilities Perform janitorial duties including trash removal, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, and restroom cleaning Clean windows, carpets, floors, blinds, and upholstery Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, scrubbers, and extractors Follow OSHA safety standards and site-specific requirements Maintain positive relationships with customers and coworkers Participate in trainings and team meetings Support team operations and workplace expectations Provide on-the-job guidance or coaching to other employees as needed Complete all required training May be required to obtain security clearance depending on site Perform other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; OR Six (6) months of janitorial experience; OR Equivalent combination of education and experience Ability to follow simple instructions and complete assigned tasks Ability to communicate basic information verbally and in writing Preferred Qualifications Experience with general cleaning and disinfecting practices Experience with floor care equipment Familiarity with janitorial tools and cleaning procedures AbilityOne Statement Some positions are designated under the AbilityOne Program and are set aside for individuals with significant disabilities.
