Job Description As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol in Whitsett, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors, use computer or tablet tools as needed, and support Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, people-first culture through teamwork and integrity. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.48 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Tue 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Wed 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Thur 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Fri 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Sat 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, building entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report suspicious activity or irregular conditions. Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Minimum Requirements Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred. Customer service experience preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
