Operations Manager-Must Have Commercial Door Experience

Operations Manager Location: Houston, Texas. Lead operations of Commercial Door Systems and ensure high customer satisfaction on construction projects. Position Overview Lead and oversee commercial operations and personnel to be efficient, effective, safe, and profitable. Manage and improve operational processes and procedures with the objective of maximizing profit and return, emphasizing customer satisfaction and repeat business. Ensure sold jobs are timely scheduled and performed skillfully to achieve divisional budgeted sales and gross profit objectives. Collaborate to align operating budgets and sales goals, keeping them on track monthly. Deliver profit dollars and the return on sales that meet or exceed the yearly financial budget/forecast. Establish objectives and action plans that are consistent with corporate goals. Hire, train, and develop new employees; improve performance through daily coaching, scorecard reviews, and performance evaluations. Effectively lead meetings, set performance expectations, and hold employees accountable. Communicate directly with customers to solicit feedback, solve problems, and identify new sales opportunities. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred; minimum of 2 years in a Department Manager, Operations Manager, or Project Manager role in the service‑provider industry with familiarity with construction project management and installation of building materials. Ability to apply technical knowledge to mechanical/electrical systems and problem‑solving. Experience conducting meetings with exempt and non‑exempt personnel, hiring, training, developing, and conducting annual performance reviews.
