Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated, dependable, and customer-focused Route Sales Representative to manage an assigned sales route in the Miami area. This position is responsible for servicing existing customer accounts, developing new business opportunities, increasing sales, delivering products, collecting payments, and maintaining accurate route and inventory records.

Previous Route Sales experience is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing a sales route, visiting customers, generating new accounts, handling product inventory, processing invoices, and collecting payments.

The successful candidate will be energetic, self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced sales and distribution environment.

Key Responsibilities

· Execute assigned sales routes and complete scheduled customer visits daily.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.

· Identify and develop new customers and sales opportunities within the assigned territory.

· Generate, qualify, and register new customer leads and accounts.

· Present, promote, and sell Company products to customers.

· Meet or exceed assigned route sales and productivity goals.

· Create accurate invoices and process customer orders.

· Collect customer payments and properly document all transactions.

· Maintain accurate product and inventory records throughout the assigned route.

· Load, organize, transport, and deliver products when required.

· Monitor product availability and assist with merchandising at customer locations when necessary.

· Maintain accurate records of daily customer visits, sales activities, payments, and route performance.

· Follow Company pricing policies, sales procedures, and operational standards.

· Address customer concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary.

· Operate Company vehicles safely and responsibly.

· Represent the Company professionally and positively at all times.

Qualifications & Skill

· Experience as a Route Sales Representative, Route Sales Driver, Outside Sales Representative, Territory Sales Representative, or similar route-based sales role is highly preferred.

· Previous experience in wholesale distribution, convenience store products, retail sales, delivery sales, or customer-facing sales is preferred.

· Strong sales and customer relationship-building skills.

· Ability to develop new accounts and grow sales within an assigned territory.

· Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

· Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

· Ability to independently manage a daily sales route and customer schedule.

· Basic computer, invoicing, payment-processing, and recordkeeping skills.

· Strong inventory accountability and attention to detail.

· Self-motivated and results-oriented with the ability to meet sales targets.

· Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing route and customer needs.

Driver Requirements

· Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.

· Must be insurable under the Company's commercial vehicle insurance policy.

· Experience operating delivery vans, route vehicles, or similar commercial vehicles preferred.

· Must be comfortable driving throughout the assigned Miami sales territory.

Additional Requirements

· Ability to travel throughout assigned sales territories daily.

· Ability to lift, load, unload, and transport products when necessary.

· Must maintain professionalism and confidentiality regarding Company information and customer accounts.

· Must comply with all Company policies, operational procedures, and safety standards.

· Must be authorized to work in the United States.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused sales environment.
