This role involves leading patient care using the nursing process within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses, and Scope & Standards of Practice. Responsibilities include delegating tasks, directing team members, ensuring quality outcomes, respecting diversity, and supporting departmental goals. Demonstrates professional responsibility and supports the nursing philosophy. Education Required: Graduate of an accredited nursing school. Work Experience Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in nursing. Certifications Required: Valid RN license in the state of practice. Required: BLS certification from the American Heart Association. Preferred: Certification in a clinical specialty area. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Proficiency with computers and software. Effective communication skills. Strong organizational and time management skills.
