SummaryJob Description:Security OfficerPart Time, Third Shift 5:30p-6a (Sat. and Sun.)Provides security and protection to the person and property of those entering Baptist Health Paducah and secondary buildings associated with the operations of Baptist Health buildings, equipment, supplies, and report any misuse of any hospital buildings, equipment, and properties.Job Duties:Answers all calls for service and answers questions concerning these calls or responds accordingly.Investigates all incidents involving criminal matters, completes an incident report and reports such matters as appropriate to the proper authority.Required to subdue and/or de-escalate high stress, tense situations involving combative person(s) for an unknown period of time.Able to assist and complete required fire checks (Fire Extinguishers and Exit Signs on a monthly basis.)Conducts routine internal and external foot patrols on the main campus and issue parking violations and assist with traffic control as needed.Requirements:High School Diploma/GEDDriver’s LicenseMust obtain BLS within 3 months of hire.
