Registered Nurse - PACU

Job Summary:


Seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) team. The role involves providing specialized perioperative care to patients recovering from anesthesia, ensuring safety and comfort throughout their recovery process.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor patients' vital signs and responsiveness continuously during recovery.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to facilitate smooth handoffs and patient care transitions.
• Document all patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in the EMR system.
• Respond promptly to any patient complications or emergencies.
• Maintain compliance with unit policies, safety standards, and certification requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license and current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years PACU experience with ICU-level care competency.
• Demonstrate strong clinical skills in patient monitoring and emergency response.
• Prefer candidates with additional certifications such as CPAN or TCAR.
• Ability to work proactively within a team environment and adapt to fast-paced settings.
