Job Title

Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care for labor, preterm labor, low-risk antepartum, and triage patients across 8 labor rooms and 4 triage rooms
• Perform and assist with circulating, scrubbing, pre-op, and post-op duties for OB-GYN and GYN surgical cases
• Administer and monitor specialty medications and therapies including heparin, insulin, magnesium sulfate, blood/blood products, epidural pumps, PCA pumps, and syringe pumps
• Attend all deliveries, including high-risk deliveries, and support couplet care and transition nursery as needed
• Operate and manage specialty equipment including wound vac, cooling/warming blankets, and defibrillation/cardioversion devices
• Float to postpartum and potentially other Labor and Delivery units at a sister facility as required

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
• Active and valid RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Required certifications: BLS, Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM), NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
• Proficiency with Epic EMR
• Ability to commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification preferred
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Experience with couplet care, transition nursery, and high-risk OB patient populations
