Position Summary: Incumbent is responsible for basic reception responsibilities for all those needing assistance upon arrival to emergency services. Provides & tracks, visitor badges and parking data. Follows patient visitor protocol. Ensures that requests for information and services are accurately responded to, in a timely and appropriate manner, sensitive to the circumstances of the patient's/guest's emotional situation and privacy needs. Provides oversight and ensures cleanliness of visitor waiting areas (including pediatric areas). Escorts or transports patients from Registration/Triage to assigned bed and prepares patient to receive health care services. Assists in the mobilization/transports of ED patient's/visitors in reaching destination through the health care system and upon discharge.
