CDL A Driver

Job Description Base Pay: $28.50 per hour Shift: Day Shift, Monday through Friday Responsibilities The Driver will transport and deliver windows and doors to dealers, distribution centers, and construction job sites using a tractor‑trailer. This position requires safe driving, customer service, and over‑the‑road delivery during the week, with occasional Saturdays. Safely assist with loading and unloading of products at delivery points or returns (driver responsible for handling windows and doors) Perform frequent lifting, pulling, pushing, and carrying of windows and doors of varying weights Apply commercial driving skills to maneuver vehicle at varying speeds in difficult situations such as heavy traffic, inclement weather or tight loading‑dock areas Maintain records for compliance with State and Federal regulations: driver logs, fuel purchases, mileage records, and other required documents Perform all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures, and comply with all Federal, State, and local regulations for safe operation of a commercial motor vehicle Answer questions about packing lists, invoices, packaging, and material content; direct to appropriate contact if unable to answer May perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Valid ClassA Commercial Driver’s License with doubles endorsement if twin trailers are pulled at location Acceptable accident and moving violation Motor Vehicle Record At least 2 years of tractor‑trailer driving experience, including winter driving experience Ability to lift up to 50 pounds continuously above shoulder height and below waist Ability to read, write, and perform simple mathematical calculations; maintain logs; read maps and road signs Ability to follow instructions via on‑board computer system and by phone Must be able to work independently and effectively with people in a fast‑paced environment Travel as required (GA, NC, FL) Additional Information Site Address: 1800 Westfork Rd, Lithia Springs, GA 30122.
