Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,280–$2,311 per week Guaranteed hours: 0 Contract duration: Weeks Shift: Rotating 11:00pm–7:00am (8h), 3:00pm–11:00pm (8h), 7:00pm–7:00am (12h) Start date: 08/25/2026 Setting: 180-bed skilled nursing facility with five units serving geriatric/rehabilitation patients Orientation: 80 hours, daytime during first week Travel requirement: First-time travelers accepted; local candidates (>75 miles) not accepted Responsibilities Serve as RN supervisor across units, coordinating nursing care and assignments to ensure quality patient outcomes and adherence to standards. Lead and mentor nursing staff, provide coaching, and support performance improvement initiatives; manage staffing to meet patient needs within productivity guidelines. Oversee care for geriatric patients, including those with dementia, Alzheimer’s with behaviors, DM, CVA, and post-acute/rehab needs; implement de-escalation strategies for assaultive or agitated behaviors. Ensure accurate EPIC charting and documentation, maintain HIPAA compliance, and participate in incident/sentinel event reporting and regulatory readiness. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (PT, radiology, phlebotomy, social services, pharmacy, unit secretaries) to coordinate admissions, discharges, and complex care plans; manage infection control and isolation procedures. Prepare for emergencies, lead code management, and support staffing and patient safety during night and weekend operations.
