Contract position for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer for design and project management of orthopedic implant products. Utilize SolidWorks for design. Create 3D modeling. Responsible for verification and validation. Responsible for meeting regulatory guidelines for medical device manufacturing. Work with other members of the mechanical design team to create innovative products. BS Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering. Minimum 5 years experience with mechanical design and product development. Experience with design of orthopedic implants (or similar medical devices). Experience with SolidWorks.
