What You’ll Do Work with doctors during patient visits to document all patient interactions in real time. Record patient history, exams, treatments, and prescribe medications using electronic health record (EHR) systems. Review, track, and update lab and test results. Follow HIPAA and other privacy regulations to keep records secure. Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date patient charts. Send and organize documents for doctor review. Support the healthcare team with lab tracking and follow‑ups. Help keep the clinic run smoothly by handling administrative tasks. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S. Proof of vaccinations (may be required). Typing speed of 40+ words per minute. Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking). Strong listening and communication skills. Flexible schedule availability. Ability to stand, sit, and use a computer for several hours a day. Work Locations As an on‑site medical scribe, you could work in a variety of healthcare settings—from doctor’s offices to emergency departments—across 80 specialties nationwide. Locations will be matched to the best fit based on your schedule, interests, and location. Schedule Options & Compensation We offer both part‑time (2–3 shifts per week) and full‑time (3–4 shifts per week) positions. Shifts are usually 8 hours but can vary depending on site needs. Compensation range: $21.00 per hour, depending on qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
