What You'll Do

• Provide specialized nursing care in a high-volume Cath Lab, including circulating, scrubbing, and monitoring tasks
• Assist with complex interventional procedures such as TAVR, MitraClip, and peripheral vascular interventions
• Administer vasoactive drugs and sedation, monitor critical patients, and maintain sterile technique
• Support various cardiovascular procedures, including diagnostic cath, structural heart procedures, and neuro interventions
• Collaborate with charge and support staff to deliver excellent patient care
• Float between Willis Knighton Pierremont and Willis Knighton Bossier facilities, providing backup for advanced cases as needed

What You Need

Required:

• RN license with BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Valid driver’s license for facility hopping
• Minimum 3 years RN experience with specific Cath Lab expertise
• Ability to scrub, monitor, and circulate; experience with complex procedures and vasopressor administration
• Proficiency with EMR (Meditech Expanse), IV pumps (Alaris), and hemodynamic monitoring systems (Merge preferred)
• XRAY Tech: ARRT certification, Louisiana license, BLS, ACLS; RCIS preferred

Preferred:

• Experience with hemodynamic monitoring, intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP), Impella devices, laser, and atherectomy procedures

About the Assignment

This role offers a unique chance to work in a state-of-the-art Cardiac Cath Lab environment, supporting complex cardiovascular and neuro interventions. You’ll be part of a team handling intricate procedures with a focus on patient safety and quality care, floating between facilities to meet staffing needs. Orientation includes a week at the Innovation Center, with additional precepting as needed.
