CNC LATHE MACHINIST

CNC Lathe MachinistCustom parts. Challenging setups. Real machining.If you prefer making precision components over watching the same production run all day, this role is worth a look.We're looking for an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist who knows how to take ownership of a job from setup through final inspection.What you'll be doing:Set up and run CNC horizontal lathesMachine low-volume, high-mix industrial componentsRead blueprints, engineering drawings and GD&TSelect tooling, set offsets and adjust cutting parametersMake basic program edits and machine adjustmentsInspect your own work using micrometers, calipers, bore gauges and indicatorsTroubleshoot tooling, dimensional and machining issuesWhat we're looking for:3+ years of CNC lathe or turning experience preferredStrong CNC setup experienceSolid blueprint and tolerance knowledgeComfortable making tooling, offset and program adjustmentsExperience machining steel and industrial metalsAble to work independently and own part qualityExperience we'd like to see:Large shaftsGearsGearbox componentsHeavy equipmentIndustrial machineryOil and gasMiningSteelPower generationMachine rebuildsCustom or job-shop machiningGear experience is a plus.
