We are looking for a detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support an Arizona law firm focused on personal injury and medical negligence matters. This permanent opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced litigation setting and can manage case materials, court filings, and deadlines with accuracy. The role offers the chance to contribute to meaningful plaintiff-side work while supporting attorneys through all stages of case preparation and administration. This is an in-office position

Responsibilities:.

• Prepare, format, and revise legal documents such as pleadings, subpoenas, and related case materials for attorney review and filing.

• Submit documents electronically with state and federal courts while ensuring compliance with filing procedures and deadlines.

• Maintain case calendars and docket schedules, tracking hearings, court dates, and other critical milestones.

• Organize digital and physical case files, including storing, uploading, and preserving exhibits and supporting documentation.

• Coordinate document management activities using Microsoft 365, OneDrive, Clio, ShareFile, and legal practice software.

• Support litigation workflows by managing incoming and outgoing filings, correspondence, and case records.

• Assist attorneys with day-to-day administrative and case support tasks connected to personal injury and medical malpractice matters.

• Ensure records are kept current, accessible, and accurately indexed to support efficient case handling.

• At least 3 years of experience working as a Legal Assistant in a civil litigation environment.

• Hands-on experience with personal injury law, with medical malpractice or medical negligence exposure strongly preferred.

• Proven ability to complete e-filing and court filing tasks in both state and federal court systems.

• Strong calendar and docket management skills with careful attention to deadlines and scheduling requirements.

• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and cloud-based document storage platforms such as OneDrive and ShareFile.

• Excellent organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail in managing legal records and case materials.
