Position Summary Position Summary... Responsibilities Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans using the Open Door Policy. Operate forklifts following company standards and guidelines when safely picking up, moving, placing, and positioning merchandise pallets. Complete work assignments and priorities by utilizing policies, data, and resources while collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners. Receive stocks, organize merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers, manage inventory flow, and complete required paperwork and logs. Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, offering guidance on self‑service technology, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting company products and services. Maintain facility safety by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe situations. Maintain the sales floor and merchandising presentation by zoning the area, stocking and rotating merchandise, removing damaged or out‑of‑date goods, setting up and cleaning displays, and ensuring modular integrity. Process defective merchandise, monitor shrink and security risks, and comply with sanitation and food safety regulations. Ensure club pick‑up orders are filled, items are staged according to policy, and merchandising associates pick orders accurately and on time; perform occasional audits. Handle moves, display goods safely, track items, maintain in‑stock levels, control shrinkage, and report inaccurate inventory practices. Operate and maintain forklifts safely, report unsafe conditions, and notify management of forklift issues. Proactively identify customers who need help, engage them in technology services, model and demonstrate equipment usage, and resolve shrink opportunities.
