This role oversees the administration and ongoing maintenance of the LMS, ensuring it remains current and effectively enables technician training for servicing Generac products.Major ResponsibilitiesOptimizes and keeps system updated for ease of use and customer experienceManages system set up to integrate with other inside business systems (SAP, Salesforce etc)Leads implementation of automation to create a best in class customer experienceAdapts, tests, and publishes new learning content in the systemPrepares curriculum for LMS style of educationTroubleshoots administrative and user technical issuesCollaborates cross-functionally to create and maintain company-wide instructional standards and best practicesDevelops policies and procedures to establish consistent use of the systemCreates reports to track system performance and useDevelops reporting pertinent to the dealers to track and manage their employees to maintain certification levelsProvides leadership and direction to the team by hiring, coaching, and developing talentSets clear, motivating expectations and actively manages performance through recognition, feedback, and appropriate corrective action.Manages the Instructional designers to convert content and create online course materials for Service and others as neededRequirementsEducationBachelor’s degreeWork Experience7 years progressive experience in a training capacity3 years progressive leadership experienceKnowledge / Skills / AbilitiesProficient in Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint and/or LMS Development tools.Excellent verbal, writing, and presentation skillsInstructional Design knowledgePreferred Job RequirementsEducationMasters Degree in Learning and DevelopmentWork ExperienceExperience in developing comprehensive adult learning programs to advance and sustain learningExperience with Learning Management System administrationExperience working in a global enterpriseKnowledge / Skills / AbilitiesStrong instructional design skills with ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio and video scriptsUnderstanding of online authoring tools such as Adobe Captivate and/or other (SCORM, AICC) eLearning authoring formatsAbility to lead projects on-time, within budget and to meet the client expectationsStrong consulting and analytical skills with the ability to assess business and human performance goals and gaps using both qualitative and quantitative factorsAbility to build and sustain professional relationships at all levels within the organizationOffice Environment:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls.
