Job OpportunitySeeking a dedicated and skilled CT Technologist to join our team in a dynamic healthcare environment. This position involves working the day shift with a schedule of 3 twelve-hour shifts from 09:00 AM to 09:30 PM.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform CT scans including but not limited to abdomen, chest, pelvis, and head with and without contrast.Administer contrast media as required and observe radiation safety protocols.Utilize advanced imaging techniques such as 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and maximum intensity projection.Ensure accurate patient imaging and maintain proper isolation precautions as necessary.Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care.QualificationsCertification in ARRT CT and ARRT R, along with BLS certification.Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience preferred.Proficiency in Epic charting system is preferred.Experience with various patient age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics is a plus.Work EnvironmentThis position is in a short-term acute care hospital located in City, State, featuring a total of 536 staff beds and providing advanced medical care across various specialties. The daily patient census is approximately 450, and you will be part of a team that handles an estimated 175 visits per day.Scheduling and ExpectationsWork hours: 3 days per week from 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM.Weekend shifts are required, specifically on Saturdays.Must be able to commit to working during three of the following holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day.Additional RequirementsThe candidate should have the ability to float between facilities as needed.Completion of all required modules prior to and during orientation is expected.Two professional references covering at least one year of experience within the last three years are required prior to start.If you are passionate about patient care and possess the required qualifications, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
