Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant. This full-time position spans the entire school year and offers the chance to collaborate with a dedicated educational team. You’ll play a vital role in helping children achieve their communication goals, working closely under the supervision of licensed Speech-Language Pathologists. The position is based near beautiful Woodland Park, CO.
What you’ll need to bring:
- Active SLPA license
- Current CDE (Colorado Department of Education) certification
- Prior experience working with school-aged children or in educational settings preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Commitment to providing high-quality, student-centered support
In this role, you will:
- Assist with carrying out speech, language, and communication interventions as directed by the supervising SLP
- Support IEP implementation and maintain accurate documentation of student progress
- Work with students individually or in small groups to maximize engagement and growth
- Contribute to team meetings and collaborate with educators and families
- Maintain compliance with school and district policies as well as all professional guidelines
