Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 36–48 Hours per Week | Rotating Shifts (Days, Evenings, Nights) | Onsite | Includes Floating, Weekends, Holidays, On-Call, Callback, and Charge Duties per Unit Needs

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Adult Emergency Department managing more than 100,000 visits annually
• Assess, triage, and treat a diverse patient population in a fast-paced Level I trauma center environment
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data as part of ongoing patient assessment and care
• Assist with boarder patients as needed to support department flow and patient safety
• Fulfill charge nurse responsibilities as required by unit needs

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State RN License (NY license required)
• Minimum of two (2) years of Emergency Department experience
• Previous travel nursing experience in an Emergency Department setting required
• Telemetry experience required
• BLS certification through American Heart Association only
• ACLS certification through American Heart Association only
• NIHSS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-acuity or Level I trauma center environment
• Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly across varying shift schedules and patient volumes
