Neurology (Headache Center) - Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

Responsibilities Full‑time NP/PA position, Monday–Friday, no holidays required. Evaluate patients with headache disorders and facial pain, including migraine, tension‑type, cluster, post‑traumatic, post‑concussive and chronic daily headaches. Develop individualized treatment plans that include acute and preventive drug therapy. Provide education, identify and manage triggers, and administer trigger point, occipital, Botox and other peripheral nerve injections. Maintain excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. Qualifications 1 to 2 years of experience as NP or PA in neurology, acute medicine or primary care (preferred; other experience considered). National certification: ANCC or ACNP for NP, NCCPA for PA. For NP: Master’s degree, active New York State Registered Nurse license and active New York State Nurse Practitioner license. For PA: Completion of ARC‑PA approved Physician Assistant program, active New York State Physician Assistant license. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal effectiveness, computer competence and a desire to learn. Experience in teaching learners (students and new employees) through clinical learning experiences, knowledge sharing and skill training.
