Warehouse Automation Technician

Maintenance ProfessionalShift: FirstAre you a hands-on maintenance professional with experience troubleshooting automated equipment and industrial systems? We're looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with mechanical and electrical systems, and keeping a busy facility running safely and efficiently. Automation experience is a key part of this role, along with experience in electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, refrigeration, and material handling systems.What You'll DoTroubleshoot, maintain, and repair automated equipment and industrial machineryPerform preventative and predictive maintenance on electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systemsMaintain and repair ammonia, Freon, and/or CO? refrigeration systemsMaintain building infrastructure and facility equipmentPerform maintenance and repairs on material handling equipmentDiagnose electrical and electronic components, motors, wiring, and controlsComplete work orders and document all maintenance activities in the CMMSPerform inspections and communicate equipment issues and maintenance needs to leadershipUse motorized lifts and other equipment to safely access and maintain equipmentSupport contractors working on or near refrigeration systems as neededFollow all company, regulatory, and safety requirementsWhat We're Looking For3+ years of mechanical maintenance experience with industrial, manufacturing, warehouse, processing, or material handling equipment, or a combination of experience and trade schoolAutomation experience strongly preferred, including at least 2 years of experience with electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems in an automated environmentBasic electrical instrumentation experienceAbility to troubleshoot and solve mechanical and electrical problemsBasic ability to read P&IDs may be required at some locationsComfortable using computers, including Word and ExcelStrong communication and problem-solving skillsComfortable working at heights and using lifts where requiredAble to work in temperatures ranging from -20°F to 100°F while wearing required PPEAble to lift at least 40 lbsWilling to work a flexible schedule, including weekends when neededComfortable working in environments with varying noise levelsWhy This Could Be a Great FitThis is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys troubleshooting automation, working with their hands, and solving complex maintenance problems.
