Job Description As a Security Officer Campus Patrol in Houston, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $13.75 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon11:00 PM - 07:00 AMFri11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and/or staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a transportation location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and report details according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor entrances, exits, and/or restricted areas, verify access permissions when required, and communicate with site contacts regarding security‑related concerns. Support transportation operations by observing pedestrian and vehicle activity, assisting with directions and general information, and documenting routine and unusual events in a timely manner. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
