Duties Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, styling, coloring, and hair extensions to meet client preferences and enhance their natural beauty Utilize salon software such as MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and streamline daily operations Conduct consultations to understand client needs, recommend suitable treatments, and educate on hair care routines Maintain high standards of sanitation and hygiene by following proper sterilization procedures for tools like straight razors and other equipment Apply advanced techniques such as hair threading and makeup application to provide comprehensive beauty services Upsell additional services like nail care or specialized treatments to maximize client satisfaction and salon revenue Stay current with industry trends in hair coloring, styling, and barbering to ensure innovative service offerings Experience Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a hairstylist or barber with a strong portfolio of diverse styles Knowledge of salon management practices including client communication, appointment scheduling, and retail sales strategies Familiarity with salon software systems such as MINDBODY for efficient booking and record keeping Skilled in various hair techniques including hair coloring (color theory), hair extensions, straight razor shaving, and hair threading Excellent communication skills to effectively connect with clients, understand their needs, and provide personalized recommendations Demonstrated ability to maintain sanitation standards rigorously while working with different tools and products Experience mentoring junior staff or apprentices is a plus for fostering team growth Join us if you're passionate about transforming looks while delivering top-tier customer service!
