Non-Tenured Open Rank Professor In Adult Interventional Radiology

The University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Department of Radiology, is actively seeking applicants for a non-tenured open rank professor in adult interventional radiology.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of interventional radiology procedures in critically ill trauma and non-trauma patients. Procedures include, but are not limited to, non-coronary (including cerebral) angiogram, treatment of injured blood vessels by embolization and stent placements with minimal invasive percutaneous procedures, percutaneous biopsies and drainages, evaluating and reading x-rays, CT scans, MRIs and ultrasounds. Other duties will include teaching and supervising residents and fellows in interventional radiology. Must have CAQ or be CAQ eligible.

Qualifications

Education: Completion of an accredited residency program.

Licenses: Board certification or board eligible. Current unrestricted licensure as a physician in Tennessee, current certification DEA number. Eligible for malpractice insurance. Sub-certifications/training highly preferred.
