About the Opportunity

Rivera Resources is recruiting an experienced Lead Service Technician to join a growing team located in Long Beach, NY.

We are looking for a motivated HVAC professional with strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, experience servicing residential and light commercial systems, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

This position offers the opportunity to take on leadership responsibilities, manage service operations independently, and play an important role in the continued growth of the service department.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC equipment issues, leaks, and other service-related problems.
• Identify root causes and implement effective solutions to minimize repeat service calls.
• Manage service calls from initial diagnosis through completion.
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding appointments, repairs, service concerns, and next steps.
• Serve as a key point of contact between Dispatch and Management to support efficient service operations.
• Maintain accurate service records, including work performed, materials used, and required follow-up.
• Manage parts and service inventory, including coordinating orders and sourcing with Dispatch.
• Maintain an organized service garage, company vehicle, tools, and equipment.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in HVAC service, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
• Experience servicing residential and light commercial HVAC systems.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to travel throughout Long Beach and surrounding areas.
• Availability to work overtime as needed.

Compensation & Schedule

• Pay: $40–$50 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with overtime as needed.
• Bonus: $5,000 upon successful completion of one year of employment.
• Location: Long Beach, NY | On-Site
