Now Hiring: Director of Social Services

Full Time | Monday-Friday | 8hr Shifts | $70,000-$75,000 annually

$5,000 SIGN ON BONUS!

Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Director of Social Services to join our team in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania . As a key member of our leadership team, the Director of Social Services will be responsible for overseeing the overall operation of our social services department, providing direct care to our residents, and ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of quality care.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the social services department, including supervising a team of social workers and activity professionals

• Develop and implement comprehensive social services plans that align with our organizational goals and resident needs

• Coordinate and deliver individualized care plans, including developing and managing care teams

• Foster strong relationships with our residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions and exceptional care

• Monitor and improve departmental performance, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards

• Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement effective care strategies and resident-centric programs

• Identify and address areas for improvement, implementing initiatives to increase resident satisfaction and quality of life

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 years of experience in a social services leadership role, preferably in a long-term care setting

• Passion for delivering exceptional care and making a positive impact on the lives of our residents and their families

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities

• Strong knowledge of social services regulations and industry standards
